Dr. Joanna Robson is the owner of Inspiritus Equine, Inc. and the founder of Integrated Soundness Solutions™ - a philosophy and practice of combining the best methods from Eastern and Western veterinary medicine, with top equine professionals working together, for the best diagnostic and healing approach for the patient. She is the only veterinarian certified in the above combined modalities, and is a global leader in the whole horse approach.

Dr. Robson is a graduate of the Washington State University Honors Veterinary Medicine Program, and completed an internship in medicine and surgery at the Western College of Veterinary Medicine in Saskatoon, Canada.  She then completed certifications in Veterinary Spinal Manipulative Therapy from the Nationally Accredited Healing Oasis Wellness Center in Sturtevant, WI, and Veterinary Acupuncture from the renowned Chi Institute of TCVM in Gainesville, Florida.  Dr. Robson is also a certified massage practitioner (Pacific School of Massage and Bodywork), and Certified Saddle-Fitting Technician (Saddlefit4Life®). She obtained her certification in Infared Thermography through the Infraspection Institute™. Dr. Robson also employs Chinese Herbal Medicine and infrared thermography in her daily practice.

Dr. Robson is a sought-after lecturer, and has spoken nationally and internationally at events such as the Equine Affaire™ and Equitana™ Germany and Asia-Pacific. She works very closely with world-class Certified Master Saddlers, industry-leading farriers, top trainers in dressage and hunter-jumpers, and academic leaders in alternative medicine programs.  Dr. Robson is the Veterinary Technical Director of EquineIR™ - major sponsor of the 2010 World Equestrian Games, and is a veterinary partner in Saddlefit4Life®. She is a long-time member of the AAEP, AQHA, and USEF.

In addition to being a top integrative veterinarian, Dr. Robson is also a lifelong rider and active competitor - thus, she knows what it takes to be successful both inside, and outside, of the arena.

In September 2009 Dr. Robson published "Recognizing the Horse in Pain, and What You Can Do About It!" and updated the series again in 2013. The book and DVD are available online at www.recognizingthehorseinpain.com

Dr. Robson is a co-founder of the HIPPOH Foundation (www.hippohfoundation.org) and has started teaching integrated mindfulness practice for equestrians.
